"Gazing Through Your Windows"

This painting was inspired by “Song of Songs 2:8-9”. I love this verse so much, probably one of my favorite verses in Song of Songs. It gives a beautiful picture of the gentleness and patience of the Lord, yet also a sense of persistent passion and love ---- how he sees and knows - us. 

“My beloved is like a gazelle or a young stag.

Look! There he stands behind our wall,

gazing through the windows,

peering through the lattice.”
